The IU Alumni Association governance committee has determined its slate of candidates for the election of officers, at-large members of the Board of Managers, and at-large members of the 2020-2021 IUAA Executive Council.

Nominations for the Board of Managers are Joshua Kornberg, BA’12, nominated for chair-elect;  Lori Pearson-Perry, BS’01, nominated for vice chair; Larry Lentych, BS’69 for treasurer; and Jeannie Sager, MA’03, for secretary. Yung Nguyen, BS’89, MD’95, and Cindy Stone, BS’78, MS’08, were selected as at-large members of the Board. Their terms are three years as prescribed by the IUAA bylaws.

Vi Simpson, LLB’94, LHD’13, served as chair-elect in 2019-20 and does not require a nomination for her upcoming term as chair of the IUAA Board of Managers. Likewise, Deanna Crispen, BA’98, automatically moves into the position of immediate past chair.

The committee selected 12 alumni for the Executive Council member-at-large positions that begin July 1, 2020. These are three-year terms and the nominations are:

6. Amy Metheny, BS’84, MD’89, of Indianapolis
7. Nancy Otte, BS’76, OD’78, of Jasper, Indiana
8. Angela Perez, BS’19, of Chicago
9. Steve Sanders, BA’84, of Bloomington, Indiana
10. Patti Theil, BS’81, of Denver, Colorado
11. Etta Ward, BA’95, MA’08, of Indianapolis
12. Michael Wargo, BGS’82, of Granger, Indiana
