It’s time again for my annual last call for nominations before they close for the coming fiscal year. Don’t worry – I accept nominations for outstanding Executive Council and Board of Managers all year around – but if you want your candidate (or yourself) to be included in this year’s pool of candidates, get your nominations in by September 30.
It’s also time to notify you of the volunteers that already work within this governing process to ensure a smooth election. Each spring, IUAA members confirm a slate of nominees for the IUAA’s advisory group, the Executive Council, and its governing body, the Board of Managers. The final roster of nominees is developed by the IUAA Governance Committee, led by chair-elect Martin Vargas, BS’94, along with committee members John Brown, BA’84, JD’87;Jerald Harkness, BA’91; Lauren Jolly, BS’04;Terri Jump MS’78, EdD’85; Kathy Koehler, MPA’98; Yung Nguyen, BS’89, MD’95; Angela Perez, BS’19; Steve Sanders, BA’84; Sandy Searcy, BS’86, MS’88; and Jim Trilling, BA’94.
