IU is headed to the Outback Bowl!

We’re excited to support Big Ten Coach of the Year Tom Allen and the Hoosier football team as they head to Tampa to play Ole Miss in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 2. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. on ABC. We join IU Athletics in excitement about the season, and the bowl berth is only tempered by the reality that the ongoing pandemic will dramatically change the bowl experience and opportunities for our fans. Due to local restrictions, Raymond James Stadium will be operating at 20% capacity for the game. As a result, IU has been allotted a very limited number of tickets.

If you’d like to attend the Outback Bowl on Jan. 2, visit Ticketmaster as the official site to purchase tickets. These tickets will not be managed by Indiana and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, in an effort to keep our fans safe and healthy, we will not be arranging the traditional bowl travel packages for this year’s event.

We appreciate your understanding as well as your support of Indiana Football!

We are working with our partners in athletics to virtually engage with fans leading up to the Outback Bowl on Bowl Central and on the athletics social media channels. Stay tuned!

As a reminder for those also serving in our alumni communities, we reissued our event-related guidance. In short, all events held by IUAA-sponsored groups should remain virtual-only and not in-person, including activities associated with this game. We, like most of you, look forward to cheering the Hoosiers on to victory from home!  Go IU!
