Adjusting Our Work and Offering Great Content, Too

My team has been working hard recently to develop new and exciting ways to bring programming to our alumni, whether in person or virtually. I am proud to share that what we’ve developed is not only a great program, but is also coming at an incredible time in our world. Wellness Wednesdays, featuring IU alumna Jean Sherfick, BA’06, is a series of six video segments that will be posted to IUAA’s Facebook and IUAA’s Instagram streams. Jean, who was a member of the IU Track & Field team and is currently a head coach at Orangetheory Fitness in Bloomington, Ind., will cover a new topic each week while we maneuver through this period of social distancing. The topics include:

  1. Staying Connected and Balanced
  2. Self Care
  3. Mindfulness
  4. Fitness
  5. Sleep
  6. Food and Diet

Maneuvering and adjusting is key. It certainly is for me, who loves my Orangetheory workouts and is an extrovert that craves personal connection to my tribe. So I’m adjusting to the newest normal and finding comfort and connection in programs like this.
